Yes, our facility accepts all mercury containing bulbs including 4-ft and 8-ft bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps (CFL's), and HID bulbs.
Hazardous Materials Management Facility will dispose of these devices safely and free of charge to Boulder County residents. We accept: Batteries (includes devices with internal batteries), E-liquid or juice, tanks, cartridges/pods and disposable devices.
Yes gasoline is accepted accepted in containers. If you would like to have your container returned to you, ask staff to label your container with your name and phone number. The container will be poured off and the container will be ready for pick up in 1-2 business days. Containers larger than 5 gallons are not accepted.
The Hazardous Materials Management Facility (HMMF) does not provide shredding. You can visit the Boulder County A-Z guide for a list of locations that do provide shredded paper recycling options. www.bouldercountyrecycles.org

There is a 400 pound limit per day, anything over 400 pounds will be charged disposal fees. Note: Alternatively, latex paint can be dried out and disposed of with regular trash.
