Katrina Garcia
The most worthless, group of so called case received. Who don't do their jobs!!! received a text 6/28/23 stating benefits expire 8/1/22- I submitted all changes, and updates that evening. As of this morning I did not receive my benefits, so I called, and was told " it's still in review, and since, we are short staffed, it will be taken care of in the order it was recived". When I mentioned I was suppose to be having surgery at the end of the week, and need food, and medical, she flat out told me, "u will have to post-pone or wait."

Food assistance benefit program is highly unethical, unreliable and negligent in it's processing of claims. Food share assistance workers will make several "mistakes" that will result in the denial of a claim, forcing one to start the entire process all over again. Customer service workers lack the ability to de-escalate a frustrated situation by using defensive response tactics in place of taking responsibility. Their egos replaced their empathy it would seem.

I have had the worst experience ever reporting elder abuse to Denver DPS! After reports from other people, and proof of the neglect and abuse the city nor Mr. Driskell did nothing about it! Shamed!!
