Oh boy. Has the dog always barked a lot? You could check out some things to calm the dog like rescue remedy, or oat seed tincture. I don't know if a veterinarian can help with this or not or you could get some sort of a soft muzzle that would still allow the dog to drink water. Are you can look up professional dog trainers online and see if they have any suggestions. Or perhaps your father could make that a companion dog or service dog and the management in his complex would have to accept that? I don't know how well that would work but it's just a thought

I had an emergency with my dog and I had her in there by 8 am and she was in X-rays and surgery within 8 minutes. They were accommodating, the staff and doctor were fantastic. They genuinely care for your pets. I believe I called at 7:00 am.

Been taking our dogs there for a while. For vaccines they took walk in but you need to make an appointment for anything else because it does get busy.
