It’s disgusting how they treat / talk to people here. On top of that.. the person conducting interviews during my visit was very rude and annoyed with the fact that I had questions. Every question I asked was answered with “I don’t know..”. Unpleasant, uncomfortable experience and a Waste of time.

This place is horrible and not only have they taken all things away from me to help me but they generally discriminate and participate in organized crime this place I have submitted and let them know actively that I am a person of cyber identity theft and somehow they have allowed for my cash benefits to be completely stopped due to someone fraudulently going in and changing my account as well as in giving me sanctions that I am unaware of actively doing things that are illegal this they have not come to help me or anything to resolve the situation no matter how many attempts I've tried to call and talk to someone I'm always directed to a customer service agent who has my account in front of them and actively says that they cannot access my account I've tried and tried to figure out means what's going on with my situation but I never get a call back from a manager I never get a call back from a supervisor I never get a call back from anyone to help me with my situation which leads me cashless homeless advice list helpless

The DHS Google Page has tons of benefits. You can see their address, phone number, hours and figure out how to stop into their office.
Yes, search "Peak Colorado" in a web browser. Here is the website: https://coloradopeak.secure.force.com/?fs=y
They do offer some walk in appointments. Call them and find out when.
I'm looking to adopt a small dog. Just saying
Yes. They are freindly but the bureaucracy is messed up.
U can use Chase ATMs for free. Or King Soopers is free to get cash back from EBT Card..
The building across the parking lot of the old bldg is open to public. The old building is now a Federal Secured entrance building. So the DHS new building sits on 11th St (look for white banner)
Yes, depending on the reason.
Consult with an attorney.
Because Christmas is on Saturday this year, Christmas Eve is a holiday and the building is closed.
No you'll need to make an appointment for pick up
You'll have to call and set up an appointment. They will give you the option to receive it in the mail or to pick up
No. The only in-person service is EBT card pickup, for which you must have an appointment. There is a document drop off located at 1200 Federal, however, the majority of staff is still working virtually.
Yes, there are people available to help
Hi Ricardo, if you need a new or replacement EBT card, please apply for one online at EBTEdge.com. Once your application is processed, we will deliver the card to you via priority mail. If you have immediate needs or are unable to receive a card by mail, you may make an appointment to pick up your EBT card in person at our Richard T. Castro Human Services Center (1200 Federal Blvd.). Call 720-944-4DHS (4347) for info or to make an appointment.
Hi William, give us a call at 720-944-4DHS (4347).
Hi Destiny, if your EBT card is lost, stolen, or damaged, call EBT Customer Service at 1-888-328-2656 (1-800-659-2656 — TTY) to report it and order a new card. This is an automated number that will request your 16-digit card number; if you do not have the card number, hold on the line for additional options.
COVID-19 testing is not offered at the Denver Human Services office at 1200 Federal Blvd. It is offered at the East office (3815 Steele St.) and at Paco Sanchez Park, Green Valley Ranch Pool, and at Ruby Hill Park. Visit www.Denvergov.org/covid19 for more information.

Hi Bobby, yes it does. You can visit any of our locations as a Denver resident.
You can go in without an appointment.

Hi Shannon, not on Google, but you can on Colorado PEAK at www.colorado.gov/PEAK.
Request to speak to their supervisor.
Hi Emma, if you're on Facebook, please send us a private message with your phone number or email address. We'll forward it on to our customer care team and look into the phone issue. For security reasons, we request you don't share your contact information through a Google Question.
Call the main phone number to speak with a caseworker.
What department are you looking for?
No. You would need to call 211 for centers with available funds.
The system has been experiencing difficulties. Probably Inundated with calls for the lengthy holiday.
They also have them sometimes on Holden just across from the Rude rec center.
The best thing to do is go down there. I would go early in the A.M except on Wednesdays they are by appt. Only if you go early like at 8:00 am they will see you early.
You can call the number on your card or go down to the office and obtain it also the phone thing might take awhile but if you go as soon as they open today you should be in and out of there.
Call the main number on Monday.
Hi Ally, not at this time. You can call 720-944-4DHS.
Yes, annual open enrollment goes until 1/15.
Hi Marsha, please do come to our office. Our eligibility technicians can work with you to see if there are other programs available to assist you.
This is Denver Human Services..... Not Denver Health or a dental facility. If you have questions about benefits you probably would want to talk to a case worker.
DHS was closed for Christmas. They are open today but do not see clients on Wednesdays. Also will be closed for new years day.
Yes
You will need to contact your caseworker directly for updates. You can reach DHS at 720-944-4DHS.
No. Wednesday's we do not see clients. You can drop off an application though if needed.
Social Security is not located in that building. 1200 Federal Blvd is Denver Human Services only. You can get Food, Medical, TANF and Adult Financial there. Also there is child welfare, child support and workforce services there. If you called customer service than probably not. If you called any number or extension you had that wasnt customer service. Then, probably yes.
You can not fax in verification and blindly expect that you are "submitting" it. You can request information via fax but you can not submit that way or apply that way.
Colorado Works/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is a federal program that provides cash assistance to needy families with dependent children. An application for Colorado Works will also be considered for food assistance, Medicaid, and child support services.
Take your id to the bottom floor tell them you lost it and make sure.you cancel it right away, but go to the first floor and take your id just tell them you lost it and they will replace it the same day unless you have them mail it but that takes 7 days
This is not a customer service line. You shoulf probably call customer service if you need specific case information.
If you are eligibile and you have a card.
If you apply during normal business hours and qualify, it is possible.
Hi Jessie, if you're sending the payment by check or money order, you can mail it to the Family Support Registry: Family Support Registry PO Box 2171 Denver, CO 80201-2171 Be sure to include your FSR number and name with the payment. If you have any additional questions, you can also call our customer support number at 720-944-4DHS (4347).
If they want to apply they can determine if they are eligible. So the short answer is yes, but only if they qualify.
For food stamps you need an ID and proof of address or if your homeless they will expedite them either way.
