Tara Curry was able to manage selling 2 homes and buying 1 home all at the same time. She was extremely flexible, always available when we needed anything and had several fantastic professional contacts that helped us with other services during the process. We would 10 out of 10 use Tara again for our real estate needs.

Guided us very patiently through the entire process, and she was able to get us more than our asking price. Tara knows the process VERY well. She even set us up in our new location with a trusted mortgage broker and an agent to get us set up in our new home! 100% satisfied with her work!

I would recommend Tara as a Realtor, if you are looking for a reliable and dependable person. She will work in your best interest. She is genuine and knowledgeable in guiding anyone throughout the buying or selling process.

Tara was so great during our process of buying our first home. She was very responsive and very knowledgeable about the areas we were looking at. She listened to what we wanted and came up with some really fantastic options that fit our needs. She made sure we were informed on every part of the process, and whenever we started to get a little stressed she was more than happy to talk through and resolve our concerns. I highly recommend using her for selling or purchasing a home!

Most people find an agent first as the agents can then point them in the direction of mortgage lenders and brokers that they have worked with before and recommend. However, most agents will also tell buyers looking to finance their home purchase that their first step will be to contact a lender. I prefer to make sure my clients understand the process as whole with me, and then I can get them set up on home searches and other needed processes while they are getting approved by their preferred mortgage professional. This way, we can hit the ground running once the lender gives us the go ahead!
The short is YES, DEFINITELY! The long answer is that generally speaking the agent you meet at the new construction site is working for the benefit of the builder. It is always important to have someone on your side working for terms and outcomes that benefit you. Some markets (as we saw in 2020-2022) have less negotiating room with new construction but it is still important to have representation in that process.
