This is the best internet service provider I've ever had. I run 50+ WiFi and Ethernet connected devices with zero noticeable speed issues. The Ethernet connected devices can get upwards of 800mbps speed, which is insane. I download a lot of games (60gb+ each) and it's amazing to be finished in less than 5 minutes. Not only is the speed insanely good, but I have only ever experienced about 1 hour of service outage in the 4 years I've been a subscriber. Compare this to Comcast or Centrelink where I could expect an outage once a month. Finally, the best part is the price. I pay only $60/month... Totally worth it. The fact that the company is owned by the local municipality means they don't try any shady stuff like making you pay to rent a modem or router, or increasing rates every year. In fact after my first year they discounted from 70/month to 60/month. Whenever I consider moving somewhere else, NextLight is one of the biggest reasons for me not to. I can't stress how awesome this service is.

Hi, Sharon. If you can give our NextLight tech support team a call at 303-774-4494, we’ll be glad to help you out. Thanks!
Thanks for your interest in NextLight! Under state law, we can only provide NextLight to locations in the Longmont Power & Communications electric territory; Gunbarrel gets its electricity from Xcel Energy, so that would put it beyond our bounds. Since we’re a city department, we also can’t recommend one private provider over another, but we certainly encourage you to look carefully at the available options – as you may have seen, a lot of companies will make great introductory offers and then raise the rates when someone is under contract. (Which is one reason why we don’t do contracts … with NextLight’s rates, what you see is what you get.) Good luck in your search!
