Lived here since 2015. Loved it here until 2021 when charger properties took over. Now the (so called manager) never answers the phone. You have to leave a message first( even when office is open)!!?? Comes here when she feels like it. She also comes and goes as she pleases. Driving different vehicles everyday. The only one that seems to do anything around here is the maintenance man... Maybe he should be manager! Hes the only one that is actually ever here doing his job. We lost water one time and didnt even get a notice from the office til after the fact.. We lost water pressure 06/27/22 and no notice about it. Theres no communication between manager and residents. Also People speed through here like its a race track. Also have a noisy neighbor above me.. Never had any of this until charger properties took over

Moved in 2015. I have been so happy here. Until 2021, when Charger bought it. 6 days after the storm and they are just now plowing. Badly. Never anyone in the office. Just basic assholery. Trying to find a new place, as I type. The Pines would be better than what this place has become.

Moved out recently due to purchasing a new home. Nice apartments. Nice, quiet community. Diane (Office Manager) and Jerry (Maintenance) are amazing people, always on top of everything. I will sincerely miss them. Did not like the changes after Charger Properties took over earlier this year. Became extremely corporate instead of feeling like family back when Larry owned it. Charging $25 to process electronic rent payments for example is outrageous. No more monthly news letters. No more easy month-to-month renting for long time residents, must instead sign year long contracts, or be charged triple digits more if you don't sign one. Stole my security deposit to replace carpet upon moving out that is already automatically replaced before every new move in anyway. (unless Charger doesn't care about new move ins like Larry did and keeps old carpet whenever they can) It was a good 3 years there, glad most of it was with prior owner. I wouldn't have been able to stay very long under Charger's corporate policies. As long as Diane and Jerry are there however, it will still be a nice place to live. They will make sure of it.
