I have something to compare with so I can tell this is the best school, no doubt. I finished a 40 hour laser hair removal course, and it was an amazing experience. First of all the teacher. Barry is great, he’s so patient, wise, he will make sure you understood everything and if not he will just go over and over again with you until you get it. I don’t know where he gets his patience from.No one is left alone and he treats each student with the same respect and attention. Second of all: the course itself is very interesting, would never think laser hair removal technique explanation can be so fascinating. Third: the classrooms! Fully equipped with the best machines, and always clean and very spacious! And last but not least: we got so much practice. And not just on each other, which is also a good benefit, but we would see real clients and treat them. Can find the words how happy I am that I chose this school! Thank you so much, Barry and Brad!

I went to Berkowits school for Electrolysis in November 2018 & I honestly cant speak more highly about the quality of education this family provides! I came to NY from Louisiana because of the unbeatable reputation of the Berkowits school. The curriculum is good but really where they beat out all the competition is that there are so many clients to practice on & you always have Brad and Barry there to walk you through everything if you need help & since its a family establishment they both know everything from the science to procedures to technical issues with the machines (they literally are a certified electrolysis machine repairman took). I (timidly) took my first client my first day & by day five I think I did eight clients that day. The clients are regulars so the clients can explain if something doesn't feel exactly right and I can't stress this enough: electrolysis is something that you learn by doing & making mistakes. Berkowits school has such good steady client base you will get to practice on all different skin types, ages, hair textures, body regions and you will feel comfortable with clients & confident in your work by the end of your program. I can call Brad up with questions anytime about my machine or about something unusual I am noticing with my clients skin. The Berkowits are always available for questions, restocking supplies, & just want to see their students truly succeed. I couldn't be more grateful that before I picked a school I asked working electrologists where I should go for school and a few of them said they wish they had gone here & one said she was so happy she went here. You should be an electrologist who is happy they went here instead of wishing they did ;)
