We had an amazing stay at the Comfort Suites in Dubois. After being turned away from two nearby hotels because they could not accommodate a family of six, it was a breath of fresh air to find a hotel that was welcoming to us. Joseph at the front desk was the most helpful, enthusiastic and attentive hotel staff I’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. He checked in with us when we were at the pool and the business center during our stay, immediately addressed our request for extra bedding and was considerate in picking our room location. The room with two beds plus a pullout couch was perfect - why are these so hard to find? The pool is heated with a very fun water slide, and the hot tub was giant and featured a waterfall - above average pool area! Hot breakfast was nice. It was easy and quick to pick up dinner from the adjoining restaurant. We will definitely be looking for more Comfort Suites when we travel and hope to find them as well staffed as this one.

DuBois was a great halfway stop for us on our drive from CT to IN. We had not planned anything beforehand and did a hotel search less than an hour before arriving to DuBois. The reviews I read about Comfort Suites felt promising so we decided to book a room with 2 king beds for our family of 4. We were pleasantly surprised when we came to our room and found it had two rooms and a great view over the golf course. The pool area was great. We decided to pass on going out for dinner and pick up pizza that we ate by the pool area. There are a couple of tables in the area outside the pool. And a spacious restroom with showers right next to it. Breakfast was alright, pretty typical. The only negative I have to say about our stay is about the coffee, it was not good. So if you are one to enjoy your morning coffee, have it somewhere else. Cleanliness wasn’t great, but I can’t recall last I stayed at a hotel when it was, no matter the star rating. I’d say it was above the norm. I’ve seen many worse places.

Beautiful hotel, very convenient location with comfortable rooms. Definitely would stay again. The only 2 complaints are we booked a suite for 3 people and when we looked for bedding in the room the make up sofa bed there were none. Went to the desk and the man working was rude saying we should have let them know when making the reservation we needed bedding for the sleeper sofa. We said you would think when it clearly shows 3 guests staying and only 1 bed you could figure that out. The other complaint is not enough washcloths are put in the rooms. 3 people for 3 nights and were given 3 washcloths total. I have no problem reusing a bathtowel but not washcloths. The breakfasts were very nice, especially that it changed and wasn't the same exact things every morning. There were plenty of options to choose from.

This place is amazing, a hidden gem in the middle of a nice quaint setting. We stayed here on the way to and from NYC. The rooms were very nice, large and clean. The pool was big and has a water slide, the hot tub us also very large. There is a restaurant and bar in the connected golf course. The food was okay, nothing special but it was nice having some right there. Breakfast was a touch lacking, but still pretty good for a free option. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to be able to go back to visit again soon.
