Was transferred to park place from lagrange hospital after March 21st surgery and very shortly after I had one of the worst experiences ever I've met some good nurses like Melody and Milanka but some terrible CNA Joanne who was unbelievable rough handling every situation and every task very abrasive and let me sit in soil diaper many times for over half hour while she was having so called "busy" day I also met wonderful CNA Mariana, Luz and Emily who were very suited for the job and also PT Nathan and two more whom were very helpful and I will always appreciate their support and dedication and help But I don't recommend park place because I had very difficult time to get help when I really needed one while there were countless signs "don't fall call" My husband came to visit me daily and many times was looking for someone to help me and finding help totally not acknowledge my call button

ParkPlace is a 5 star facility but residents make it a 10. Great life enrichment programs, fitness and pool classes make it outstanding. We have not looked back on our decision to live here.

My daughter found Park Place for my husband and me. She looked at many, many places in this vicinity. We visited Park Place. At the end of the tour, we knew if we had to move from our lovely home, Park Place would be it! A lady was sitting in the lobby. As we passed her, she asked if we were contemplating moving to Park Place. I told her we were thinking about it. She then surprised me by telling me that she was glad. She also said she would like to have dinner with us. She was my first friend here. She still lives at Park Place. That simple act of kindness warmed my heart. I thought, this must be a nice place to live in........and it is! Residents here are friendly and caring. I feel like we are one big family. We have a most caring Executive Director. She contintues to bring us safely through this Pandemic. We will have our second Covid injections on February 5th. She is accessible to anyone who would like to see her for whatever reason. The staff, too, is great! I cannot praise and thank them enough for all they do to make us more comfortable during this COVID-19 pandemic period. Since the Pandemic, Park Place has instituted a special T.V. channel for the residents. A host of activities we did in person, we can now do virtually. Other interesting programs, too, have been added. We even play Bingo virtually!! ....thanks to two of our dedicated residents! One of the many programs I look forward to, is “Reflections”, which lifts my spirit. Park Place has its own Chaplain. Among other things, our Chaplain conducts, are Bible Studies and Worship Services each week. I cherish these 2 programs and “Reflections” because I am spiritually fed. I have lived here almost 5 years. Sadly, my beloved husband passed away suddenly, two years ago. We were married for 45 wonderful years. There was an outpouring of love and caring. That is the way it is here at times of crisis in someone’s life. I am very grateful and thankful to live here! Should anyone be looking for a new home, I wholeheartedly recommend Park Place at Elmhurst. Blessings!

My mother lives in the independent living portion of Park Place. She is very happy there. Her first year - before COVID restrictions - she participated in activities and exercise classes, and was excited to tell us about it, and to meet her new neighbors when we would visit. The community is friendly and welcoming. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. Her room is large and bright and she has made it her own. She can cook her own food, but enjoys the provided food so much that she doesn’t do much of that anymore. During the COVID restrictions, I have been impressed by their care to keep the community safe while maximizing the independence and openness of the facility - changing the restrictions as the local case count changes to safely allow some visitors, and in-person activities/classes. Thanks so much for a great place for my mom to live!

Hi Beverly! If a patient is coming for a sub-acute rehab stay, we do accept Medicare if the patient qualifies.
Yes, our Health & Wellness Center accepts Medicare for most patients in our sub-acute short-term rehabilitation.
Hi Jean! Thanks for contacting Park Place of Elmhurst. At this time, Park Place is not contracted with this Cigna plan. For additional questions, please call (630) 333-4343. Thanks!
So sorry--we are not doing that this year.
Just call the facility and ask them his email. Hope this will help you.
