If people think this authentic wait until you taste real authentic restaurant food. The food was not bad but they down graded on the quality, but for sure prices did double. Looks like after covid place went down on the quality. I guess this is really how good is going to get for being in Rockdale.

Met up with a friend from church for lunch there earlier this week; this is one of his favorite spots. Usually I get enchiladas when I do Mexican..not on the menu so I followed my friend's lead and had huaraches (chicken) for the 1st time with a side of rice also. It wasn't bad although I thought the huaraches were a little dry..I'll have to try them at other places for a proper comparison; the side of rice was good/tasty. FYI, they only accept cash for payment (which I didn't know and I rarely/never have cash on me), so my friend had to pay for mine. The atmosphere was nice, plenty of seating with traditional Mexican music playing but not too loud for good conversation. I'd definitely go back and try it out a few more times.

The specialty is the huaraches, the often there are other places better, for example restaurant the villa. It is better the menudo and the pozole.
Sometimes this happens but it is x a lot of clientele that comes. And if you see that they serve others before you and you arrived first, you should tell the waitresses. And that solves everything. "God does not listen to the one who does not speak."
Well, you should demand. And before leaving check your order.
I exchange the red for green before I leave they always provide extra for free.

No they do not serve any alcohol and it would be against liqour laws to bring ur own to this establishment
