Incredibly inconsistent skate sharpening. I ask for the same cut every time and depending on the person I’ve had a great sharpen or I’ve obviously been given the wrong ROH and I feel like I’m stuck on rails and have no glide.

Hands down best place in the city to get your skates sharpened. It doesn’t matter who, they are ace every time. Thank you.

The legendary hockey equipment store of Chicago. The store lives up to its name just like it did back when I was a kid. Enjoyed fitting my son here for his first pair of skates.

Service is ok.Nice place.Main reason I go here is because they're lucky. My kid rarely falls after a sharpening and wins alot when I go here for a sharpening. Its a luck thing and it's an hour longer to get here.

Masks, social distancing.
Yes, they have.
They do bake skates and do initial sharpenings. I bought my skates via the Internet and they baked and sharpened them for me
$7 for a standard sharpening of skater skates. If your blades are severely distressed, it's more - I think I remember seeing $15. And, if you bought your skates from Gunzo's, it's $5.
