April 2022: their GO points can be used for discounts for 10 cents off gas per gallon at Shell! I like Stop & Shop as it has the best sales. You can get good values with coffee, sodas and most daily items. Join their loyalty program for great deals. I like their bananas best. Not organic, but they separate them by eat now (yellow) or later (green) Nice and clean

I called ahead to check if they had a specific cake. The representative was polite, said he would go check, and told me they had it in stock. I went out of my way to go get it, but arrived to find out they don't have it. Someone else checked the back for me, but she confirmed they don't have that cake. I called the representative back and he was apologetic, but told me he only asked someone else who said yes, and didn't actually check. Updating up to 3 stars. The store is usually pretty empty, which I like with a decent selection of items. The biggest issue I have is the fish counter is always vacant. You have to stand around for 5-10 minutes anytime you want fish (this has been happening for months) and hope someone eventually shows up. It often seems like priority is loading/unloading and prepping, but not taking care of the customers. I've heard many people yelling for someone "EXCUSE ME" or "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP", but I am not that type of person, so I rather just skip buying fish

Very efficient pickup service by pre-ordering on line; multiple store staff have wrist mounted mini-tablets and directly fill orders as they come in. This makes for less people in the store which I found uncrowded at peak hours. Quick, easy, fairly safe shopping experience for such a large supermarket. Surprisingly, prices were reduced on items in all categories ( with Stop & Shop card ).
