Low standard grocery store, bottom rung of the ladder. Poor quality dairy, fish and produce departments. No dairy manager for more than a year. Product not always rotated/replenished on shelves. Caliber of products variable at any given time. Store management and asst. mngmnt. questionable. District mngmt. does not respond to customer phone calls. Company simply doesn't care about neighborhood customers. Five miles down the road Natick Stop & Shop, comparatively SUPERIOR! WHY NOT TEMPLE ST in FRAMINGHAM ?

I don't think they have protein powder and common bread, bagels brands like Thomas, nickles or pepperridge farms. Other than that the site has fresh veggies although a little on the pricer side.

I'm finally fed up enough to write a review--this is the 2nd straight time (and other times) that I've bought blackberries or raspberries that were moldy. I've tolerated the carts rolling around the parking lot and the careless baggers but continuous poor food quality is simply not worth the convenience of shopping at this location.

This store is, besides all else, a city bus stop, and since the buses run randomly at different hours, i am still in front of Stop and Shop half an hour after leaving the store with my bag of groceries. I've decided to review the store as a pastime. I'll hurry since it looks like rain. The striking thing about this store is that it sells no alcoholic beverages. Possibly the state doesn't allow it. I spent a good amount of time here this morning trying to find the hidden beer cooler. Another striking aspect of the experience here is the friendly, helpful and no doubt under-employed kid who watches over the self-checkout area. He was jolly and patient. I thought for a minute I was in a different region of the country. The produce looks good here. There's a sale on cut watermelon, two heavy tubs for the price of just one. The green peppers are giant. They should be three for a dollar, not just the one. People so far haven't hit me or scolded me for being in their ways out front here on this Mazatlán-width sidewalk.
