I am a Vernon Hills High School alum. I am trying to start my own business right here in Vernon Hills, so I went to Village Hall to get info on business applications and occupancy permits. Was extremely discouraged by an individual at Village Hall who decided it was ok to say that my business centered around helping others that I have saved up 7 years for to finally start, and I quote, "can't even ever happen" preceded by eye rolling and exasperated sighs looking up into the ceiling. As far as I know, that was far from what an interaction with a public servant should be, Vernon Hills Village Hall. Edit: besides that instance, couldn't be more proud of calling Vernon Hills my hometown

Really rude, condescending service. This individual talked to me as if I was a child. Can only describe experience as being bullied. Edit: besides that, everyone else is great

I was there at an organization which rents space. I did have a question for a person in the village hall who was off that day and the other 2 employees could not answer it. They did offer me the person's card to call her.
