El salto is our go to local spot! We've spent our highest highs and lowest lows here, when you just need some great food, good margaritas, and some friendly faces it's always an easy choice. Dine in or carry out- always consistently delicious. Reuben is phenomenal- even if we aren't seated in his section he swings by to say hi, and he is so sweet to our son; he is just a top notch kinda guy and El Salto wouldn't be what it is without him!

Nice people and service really fast. Lots of TVs for watching sports. Food, unfortunately, was very poor. Pre-cooked, bland, and probably from frozen ingredients. Tortillas were crunchy from having been heated for too long. Bad grocery store chips, salsa too sweet.

No, that is usually Schererville... I believe sometimes Valparaiso
No they do not but you can use GrubHub or place an order to go
No reservations... Not even for a large party . First come first served.. and party of 6 or more, half or more of the party has to be there)
Last time I had checked, they do have platter dishes, but you would have to contact them for their exact catering policies.
