The Permaseal representative, Griffin Callans, was great! He showed up earlier than the window I had arranged for when my schedule changed which was greatly appreciated. Griffin was extremely knowledgeable, professional and paid great attention to detail during his preventive maintenance inspection of our homes flood control system. He spent nearly an hour on the inspection and identified a couple of issues and improvements that need to be made. He took time to patiently answer all my questions until I understood the technical nature of what needed to be done. Extremely impressed with the high quality work performed and would fully endorse to anyone.

yes. they installed the wrong door. it has taken 2 months and they have not fixed it. they acknowledged it was the wrong door than the "turtle door." they then invoiced me for the wrong door. it was 400+ dollars. it's not waterproof. at all. Was promised a call back by both the sales manager and his manager! no one calls back, ever. This is a waterproofing company that will not waterproof your crawlspace properly. I was better off with a piece of plastic tarp nailed to the wall. I opened the door to the crawlspace, which hadn't been opened in 27 years, and crawled my arse in there because the salesman said it was important. we had to break the door to get in. then the wrong door to fix it. then billing me for the wrong door.
Hey Dariusz, I have a work order for Perma - Se in April and will post a rating
A wet basement can lower the value of your home and means a loss of valuable living and storage space. You will have to repair that leaky basement when you sell the house or you must disclose the problem, which could turn away potential buyers.
Perma-Seal specializes in below grade repairs, so if the top of your garage slab is lower than the ground level, they can likely help.
I'm sorry, we serve only the Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana areas. If you would like a referral to a local company, we'd be happy to assist!
They quoted me $11k to waterproof my basement. Davis Concrete Correctors completed the work for 6k and we have a dry basement.
Iron occurs naturally in some soils and when it becomes waterborne, it will show up in the sump pit in an orange color. Iron ochre is a condition where the iron concentration is so high that it becomes gelatinous and requires specialized treatment. Ask your Perma-Seal consultant for expert advice.
Perma-Seal's warranties are clear, written out, and fully transferable to any new owners, which adds true value to your home. Perma-Seal guarantees that any product or scope of work that carries a warranty will be serviced free of charge for the entire warranty time frame.
Yes, it has for us.☺
I think you'll need to contact your agent.
This appears to be asking about a first floor window that leaks, which they will not address. If it is a basement window, depending on the issue they will recommend either replacing the window if it has bad seals or installing a window well with a drain. They only install waterproofing systems in basements and crawl spaces.
