The art museum security takes their job very seriously. Every time me and my family visit we are followed like we are about to shoplift. This visit was no exception with an additional "spit your chewing gum into this baggie from my pocket" experience.

It was a very nice place, friendly folks , beautiful art work

Great museum! The mummified cat was neat. They had some really nice pieces and everyone we spoke with that worked there was super nice. If you get to close to something it announces that you’re too close and to back up. Beautiful pieces in the gift shop as well.

Amazing collection of great art works by many artists over many periods. Free admission but parking is $10. We spent an hour there, but could have spent all day. Don't miss t huh w gorgeous award-winning Libbey crystal bowl!

Yes, very much so. There is handicap parking close to the main entrance. Wheelchairs will have no problem moving through galleries and all of the museum spaces.
Free to visit. Special exhibits require a ticket and cost is variable. Membership allows access to all exhibits. Membership information can be found here: https://www.toledomuseum.org/support/membership/become_a_member
There a several glass artists in residence. I would call the museum to get contact info. Most sell their works so you could ask about them doing commissions. Most artist will do them.
Yes parking is available for $8.00 but admission is free
I'm actually not too sure. I every time I've been here. I never saw any. But that doesn't mean they don't have any.
Yes in most areas however, some special exhibits do not allow picture taking.
Yes you can , but I was told no flash is allowed.
Hi, Margi. Is is possibly this work of art? http://emuseum.toledomuseum.org/objects/58476/campiello-del-remer-chandelier---2?ctx=4abc8820-d426-4f5e-9c08-c665d6d545d0&idx=42
Call the main number. I bet they would live that!
Yes
It's free, and you can avoid the parking fee if you park at the church (which allows this) next door
It was the intention of the Libby Foundation that founded the museum that it be free to the public. Special exhibits have a fee (for example, $10 for a recent mummy display) and parking has a small fee. The museum offers memberships, which also include free parking.
The museum also has their entire collection catalogued on their website. You can find information about the artwork both on and off display by checking there.
Go anytime. No reservations but when yiu get there you have to check in at the Visitor Engagement desk. No reservations needed for the armor exhibit like some other ones in the past.
Only parking fee of 8$ (I dont see any free parking near by). Glass pavilion and museum entry is free.
There are not any works by Maxfield Parrish at the Toledo Museum of Art - but there are several works by his father Stephen Parrish: one oil painting and six etchings (none of which are usually on display).
I did not see electric wheel chairs.
Nope. We didn't wear any. Don't even think the staff did.
My husband and I parked in the lot between Art Museum Drive and I75 just west of the Art Museum Drive x Lincoln Avenue intersection. Entrance to the lot is on the end opposite intersection. We found it following signs. Once parked, we followed the sidewalk to glass doors and a brick paved section that's on the south side of the building pretty close to the intersect I mentioned before. Finding the parking lot was harder than the door for me. If you look at the museum with Google earth the lot I'm taking about had a long strip of solar panels. The entrance (an entrance? Had a welcome desk) is that orange brick patch. With covid there are stickers on the floor indicating guess spacing. Following them leads to the welcome desk.
I'm actually wearing a piece of local art right noe
That's a great question! The Toledo Museum of Art offers art classes for all ages and skill levels. You can view the current roster of art classes and workshops and register for these offerings on the Museum's website at https://tickets.toledomuseum.org. The art class schedule runs on trimesters and the deadline to register for the Session 2 of our Fall art classes is coming up soon (Oct. 27, 2020).
Hi, Lawrence. Thanks for asking. Yes, "Fireflies on the Water" will be open on the weekends through the end of the exhibition, which is June 28. Please note that when tickets go on sale Monday mornings, weekend time slots sell out first. For more information, please visit https://www.toledomuseum.org/kusama.
Go to the museum website and you can purchase tickets there, or from the box office in the museum itself
Hi, Carole. The Museum provides wheelchairs, free of charge, to its visitors. They are located in Herrick Lobby, the main entrance to the Museum. Any Visitor Engagement or Protective Services Associate will be more than happy to assist you.

Hi, Sharon! Parking at the Museum is $8 for nonmembers and free for Museum members. Also, admission to TMA is free. From time to time, there are special, temporary exhibitions that require a paid ticket. Hope that helps! For more information on planning your visit, please visit our website: toledomuseum.org.
Hi, Armine. This is not a service that the Museum provides. A handful of resources on how to care for objects can be found on the TMA website (toledomuseum.org/art/works-on-paper) and you may be interested in the following book and website: > "Conservation Concerns: A Guide for Collectors and Curators" by Konstanze Bachmann > American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works website: culturalheritage.org
Not sure. Try calling the Museum. Or checking there website.
On Sundays they open at noon. 12 to 5pm to be precise.
Would be best to call them as classes fill quickly

I am not for sure call tomorrow to find out
The Toledo Museum of Art is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Independence Day. It is also closed to the public on Mondays.
I'm not sure but you may call them. The museum has good diversity of history.
The Museum provides wheelchairs free of charge. They are available at the main entrance of the Museum. Please a guard or a staff member at the Information Desk when you arrive.
At the top of the stairs, walk past the tables to the desk. Or if you go in off the parking lot, the desk outside the cafe has them all too. If you're on the website there's a tab that says classes and will take you to their calendar and where to sign up
The museum itself is free. Special exhibits and performances are an additional cost. Parking is a little pricey. However, if you are able to you can find street parking about a block away by the glass pavilion portion of the museum.
They do, but you have to call.
Yes and it’s in right now for a limited time, so I suggest going to check it out.
