Tried taking the dog for a walk here. Parks District needs to treat this park for pests, the horse flies are unbearable. Had to turn around after 5 minutes.

I walked about 12 minutes and turned around. Starts off forestry and then turns into WIDE OPEN farm looking land. You can see people's homes and business ON THE TRAIL! If you've visited a actual trail, you'd probably stay home before coming here.

It's a nice place to walk every now and then, and usually less crowded than some of the other parks in the area. It's unfortunate to see so many invasive vines throughout the wooded areas though, but most state and county parks are like that now. Both loop trails are just over a mile and are mostly gravel covered.

Nice park. It got 2 loops and 2 dead end trails. There is no bathrooms. It does have a old house but it not open

If you pass Hunn on your left down a bit is parking for fishing. You can walk the trail from there.
