I am new to this area, so when I needed a house cleanup I had no one to ask for recommendations. I had the back half of an unrusted 1984 VW Rabbit that I thought could replace the back of my 1984 rusted rabbit; however, after I got it and learned how much time and money that would entail, I realized that I was quite ignorant of the process. This 1/2 car sat in my back yard for months. I tried different businesses, but no one was interested until I call Horton Hauls Junk. They weren't sure they'd be able to take it, but set up an appointment to see what I had, and give me an estimate. When they arrived, Eric and D'Angelo were wonderful! Very polite and professional. When I took them in the back yard and showed them the vehicle, they just said they could take it right then. When they lifted the vehicle, a few things fell on the ground. I picked them up and was going to put them in my trash can; however, they said it was part of the car, and took them out of my hand. They were also concerned about tearing up my yard. The farmer had just harvested his soy beans a few days before, and so they drove in the field (which did not tear up the field at all), backed up to the vehicle, and loaded it on. I was very happy and surprised that they took it right then. Since I thought I was only getting an "estimate", and thought they would come back later if it was something they could remove. Imagine my surprise when they decided to take it then. Couldn't have asked for nicer or more helpful employees. I hope Horton realizes what gems he has in these two guys. Peggy Faunt
