almost 4 hour wait for 4 tries installed and an alignment. had a 9am appointment for this and vehicle done 12:47. excessive wait time. while i was there a man was quoted an hour and a half wait for an oil change............WHAT............. i do those in less than 20 minutes at my house. Staff was friendly though and the place was remodeled and clean.

In North Brunswick the local Pep-boys was remodeled so it is only a service center. It used to be a retail sales location with repairs on the side, but now the focus is on repairs, there are no retail sales. The counter help seems to get overwhelmed fairly easily, and I'm still getting used to post-pandemic productivity being lackluster pretty much everywhere, but that said, if you have common sense and can communicate effectively, & present your issues thoroughly, I find the mechanics here are very helpful, and very competent. Plan ahead for anticipated repairs to take longer than they ever did prior to COVID-19. I don't know why it is still this way, but it is, here, at the (any) dealer, or anywhere else.

Rob is such a great clerk, not only did he help me after the Open Road Honda in Edison did not do their job properly, but also guided me through the process. Please give Rob a round of applause. We need more people like Rob in the customer service industry.
