Dr Howell is the best eye doctor. My whole family goes here, and we like his kind, fun, professional manner. Yesterday my son had a metal shaving in his eye from welding; Dr Howell got us right in. He’s even coming in today (on his day off) for a follow up appointment. We definitely recommend Dr Howell!

Dr. Howells was so good with my daughter! He was patient and made the experience very fun for her. For my visit, he was also very patient which I appreciate. I have a very high prescription (-9 for contacts, or so I thought) and have struggled with my past several eye doctors to get an accurate prescription. I have felt very frustrated, feeling like I'm never going to see well and just trying to live with it. He was able to explain to me why other eye doctors struggle to get the right prescription, and how people with high prescriptions tend to over focus. After a few minutes of adjustments and taking things slowly, he helped me see that one of my eyes has astigmatism, which other doctors have missed in the past because of the high prescription (it's harder to distinguish astigmatism at higher powers). He also showed me that my prescription want as high as others thought, coming in closer to -8. I wanted to cry with joy when he had me look through the lenses with the final product, the letters were clear, finally!! I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend to everyone, especially those struggling with higher prescriptions. Their office has very updated equipment and new technology that provides great accuracy!

I was so impressed by this optometrist! My son has some disabilities and he was so kind, patient and sweet with him. I was amazed. He really has a way with kids. He did everything himself (instead of having a nurse or whoever) which helped make it a positive experience. He was professional and easy going and went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and to even make it fun for him. He took the extra time to help my son and help him do well when oftentimes he struggles in these situations. They gave me the option of dilating his eyes vs doing retinal imaging, when the retinal imaging (which is super amazing technology that they have and I haven't seen in other offices) wasn't working for my son, they did dilation and didn't charge me for the imaging. I wish we had found this doctor sooner. After this phenomenal experience, I can't imagine going to anyone else. We have been to many doctors in many specialities and this doctor is absolutely one of my all time favorites.
