Longleaf Vista Nature Trail

Always love going to this hiking trail! It’s a beautiful trail with a picnic area at the top and a stone gazebo that’s great for photos. Look for the informational posts along the way about the flora found here. Mostly paved with two mesas to climb and look out over the area from above. Not a long trail, it’s just right! Circles back to where you began. My family and I have gone here my whole life.

Really nice great trail paved most of the way. Stairs maybe 20 at the most at 1 time. 1.6 mile loop.

Nice place to visit. No camping allowed. There is parking and picnic tables at the beginning of the area. As you begin the trail, there is a gazebo that overlooks the area. Head down the stairs and continue the trail to find an upstairs overlook (nice area to see the land and picnic). Go back down and continue the trail to find another lookout, a stream, and vegetation information along the way. It is not a super long trail- just right. My small dog (25 lbs) is able to complete the trail. There are also other trails and campsites nearby to check out.
