I, personally, will not be purchasing another vehicle from Sunburst Auto because of the headaches I experienced there when purchasing a truck there in August. I will say the vehicle, two months later is running good and I've had no issues in that regard. However, I will justify each star I remove from a five star rating. The first star removed (4/5). The finance department made me pay for a tinting service that had not been done to the vehicle already and that I would have to return to the dealership for. I also had to pay for some security feature of the vehicle I did not want. These two features cost me $800. They're justification was that those features are necessary because the parts and finance and sales department work together to help the dealership as a whole function. This becomes comical later when each department gives me the run around claiming its the other department's deal and that they are not involved with the other departments. The second star removed (3/5). They failed to do the emissions test before I drove the vehicle off the lot which required me to return to the dealership (which happens to be an hour drive from my home in eagle mountain) to get the emissions test done before they could complete the registration. Between buying the truck, returning for emissions, returning to pick up the plates, and returning to have the heater fixed and tint applied I had to drive approximately 1 hour each way four times while gas prices are crazy. The third star removed (2/5). I purchased the truck in August and did not test the heater. I then left for a 17 day hunt in Alaska. When I got back, on my first September morning, I attempted to use the heater to find it not functional. I found this frustrating because it was listed as a "feature" on the ad (which in itself is ridiculous because they listed basic parts of the vehicle, e.g. the tachometer, as "features"). They had said if I had issues with the truck to let them know. I did that, when I had to return for emissions, and was quoted $250 to fix the heater. I asked to speak with a manager about them fixing it and they said that I had not returned soon enough, and even had the gall to suggest I had broken it in the 200-500 miles I had driven it, most of which was back and forth to this dealership. They said they would check to see if they could work something out and would call me back. They did not for 3 days until I initiated a call. I suggested when I called that since I had not done the tint, that I would prefer the $300 from the tint be applied to the heater and they said they could not do that because the finance department and the parts department are separate, which is funny because of the initial reason why I couldn't purchase the vehicle w/o having paid for the tint. They then said they would do it for $125. I agreed. When it was done it ended up costing $200 and I just paid it because I was done arguing at this point. The fourth star removed (1/5). When I got the tint applied, that I was forced to buy, it was applied poorly and I have hundreds of little circles between the tint film and the window. Horrible application and quality. Considering just removing it myself and considering that $300 flushed. Like I said, the vehicle runs fine but I won't be returning to this sales center to purchase another vehicle because of the problems listed above.

Wow!!!! The folks at Sunburst Auto did it again! I was looking for a new vehicle and after weeks of touring multiple car places…we landed at Sunburst Auto Sales Center! Funny part is…they were the same auto center that sold us my wife’s Jeep Cherokee a few years ago (which she loves).Not only was it the same auto center, the same salesman who sold us the jeep, Dante was there and sold me my brand new Lexus! Dante makes the car buying experience a memorable and stress free experience. He’s extremely professional and works hard to make sure you (the customer) walks away satisfied.
