As someone said earlier, I have not had ANY V.A. good experience yet and there are only 2 in my area. The receptionist talks/mishandles the veterans like they are her own children. They have FOUGHT for them to be in that same position that chides them. I am a Marines brat, not a veteran, but my parent's experience has me seeking help, NO HELP!, from them. I finally had to go to Headquarters in St. Petersburg to get some action. It's true what they say, their motto is "Deny Until You Die!" Some of the working veterans there are rude and condescending too, especially to the family members if veterans. They still have a LONG way to go, baby! 🚬🚬

I've been to several different VA Clinics and must say this one is very good. I'm sure this facility ranks fairly high among them all. The facility is good size (not tiny or huge like some I've been to) and relativity new (8-10 years). In some clinics there's an information booth for directions. This clinic has no "info-booth" but there are very pleasant volunteers near the main entry to provide guidance and information and, if you'd like, will gladly accompany you to wherever you'd like to go. The main waiting room is quite large with more than adequate and comfortable seating. On either side of the waiting room are about 4 cubicles, on each side, with staff to assist with future appointments, messages to doctors, information, etc. All very organized and helpful. The nurses, practitioners, doctors, and general staff whom I've seen, have all (except one) been very helpful and professional. Because it's not a Hospital, some services are not available. Hospital arrangements can be made there to address your issue(s) at the VA Hospital in Gainesville FL or any other VA facility of your choosing. It's a “community clinic” and I think they do an excellent job with what they have available.

I was recommended to try this VA out by someone from the American Legion. Besides believing in GOD above, this is one of the best choices I ever made. I actually feel like a veteran. I feel safe and I appreciate those I am surrounded by, the staff is great and very helpful. The nurses are awesome, the DOCTORS actually listen and not just with their ears. I was overwhelmed in a good way with how much they cared to help, rather than just pump me with meds and send me on my way with not trying to figure out what I am trying to translate to them the best way I know how to translate my issues. Once again thank you. I feel the LORDs presence in this facility.
