We paid for our season tickets in May, but the office somehow lost record of the payment. They sent us 1-2 bills per month since then up through the end of July saying we never paid. We called after each bill, and they said not to worry about it as long as we paid. At the beginning of August, the next bill said their records showed we picked up the tickets in May, but that we hadn’t paid. We called again, and as they suggested, we sent a text to one of the employees with a picture of the receipt. We work during their office hours, so we welcomed this solution to avoid taking time off. Two days ago, we got a bill that said we’d be sent to collections in two weeks if we didn’t pay. Luckily, I already had Friday off and was able to go show our receipt in person. They claim it’s all clear now, so hopefully that is right after this long and frustrating summer. How do you even lose track of someone’s digital payment? There should be a clear digital record, so what happened was highly unnecessary and makes zero sense. At the very least, we never even got an apology for how this was handled by everyone involved in the office. We are highly doubtful we’ll choose to renew season tickets again. We’re very upset as loyal fans, and our love of the team is the only reason this isn’t one star.
