I have been a member at this location since it was Golds Gym. Have always loved going here and have had generally a great experience. In the past year the maintenance has really gone downhill and it seems every time I visit this location that multiple machines are broken and the hot tub is ALWAYS out of service. Staff members are very nice but things seem to work a little slower at the bountiful location. I will go out of my way and drive farther to the kaysville location everyday because I have no faith that the machines I want to use are actually going to be functional when I go to bountiful. Also, the men’s bathroom is really nasty and all the stalls are rusting. Not cleaned very well.

I have visited other Vasa locations in Salt Lake and NONE of them have the ongoing maintenance issues this branch has. The men’s showers are missing soap dispensers or are empty. The steam room has been down for WEEKS! They don’t know how to keep it working more than a few days. The staff says the equipment is old and it gets clogged with hard water but they refuse to replace it for a new system like the other locations have where their steak room is never down. The jacuzzi is also shut down and the small sauna is not big enough since it’s the only functioning space in the spa area. Vasa Corporate please send an outside spa maintenance company to fix this!

Clean, but very hot! Only vasa I’ve ever been that does not have fans. Standing fans at least create air flow.
