Great trails, easy access from Binghamton. Parking could be formalized, but that's kinda most stare trails for you.

Nice park to walk through, offering a bunch of different trails. There are snowmobiling trails in the winter. Decent fishing in the summers

Yes you can. Be aware that there are homes in the area and lots of people doing things other than hunting. It's a popular place for the mountain biking folks. Happy hunting!
Yes. The stars can be seen with very little light pollution down by the pond. Very pretty. Don't forget the bug spray.
Bike and hike only. Yellow trails are better for hiking and beginner mountain biking. Blues are more advanced.
You will want to contact DEC for that question. I know the answer but it it is best to hear the response from DEC. I also would spend some time walking the trails in order to get a basic understanding of the trail system and where potential trail users may be at any given time.
