Best thing? This Trousand Trails park is only a quarter mile walk to the beach. Also, Jim and other employees are great! Otherwise, RV's are pretty crowded to each other, bathrooms are closed, very few 50 amp sites, and virtually no sites have sewer dump.

Having your own private beach ⛱️ 😎 😜 😌 don't need more words to describe a perfect campground.

Its a nice resort, lots of interesting little nooks with trees and trails in between, for kids. Plus a main trail that leads to the ocean, with about a 5-10minute walk. Volleyball, and playgrounds. The showers are standard, clean, and do the job. Electric and water hookups, dump station right at the exit. It was a bit flooded the day we left due to rain, but we were still able to dump. Only reason im knocking it a star, is because the spaces are pretty crowded/tight, and not enough parking. Parking was a mess if im honest. But we made due. I would return.

We had a great visit here and probably the best 4th of July we have had in our life. On the 4th we decided to get up early and take the RV and park on Ocean Shores beach for the day. We arrived at the beach at 7am found a nice spot on the beach and parked, by around noon time it started to get really crowded and hard for people to find parking on the beach. There was people lighting off fireworks from the time we got there until the time we left which was around 11:30pm. We arrived back to the RV park around midnight. Best 4th of July ever. YES you should plan a 4th of July vacation here. Parking on the beach for the day was Free.

No. Open fires are prohibited. Fires in approved fire pit "containers" ARE allowed. I just returned from two weeks at Oceana. I witnessed several other campers enjoying campfires in just such containers.

Once I buy the pass, is staying there $599.00 for the whole year? Also what are the rates for the cabins and/or tiny houses?

Karri Gans | May 30, 2020

If your talking about a Thousand trails pass for $599 it has restrictions as far as how many nights & how early you can book to stay. You are not just limited to Oceana they have other places as well. You dont just pay $599 & then drop off your RV for the whole year. The tiny homes/cabins all differ in price depending on season and campground your at. I suggest you call Thousand Trails if you have more specific questions as there are lots of different types of passes. Good Luck!
