I was medically separated after a failed knee surgery. My surgeon recommended that I get a second surgery through the VA after several tests showing signs of a re-injury. The doctors at Lebanon did similar tests and determined that everything is fine even though I have a daily pain of what I used to consider a 4 or 5, audible pops and crunching, and a heavy limp due to lack of full motion. They told me if nothing showed in an mri they would recommend a arthroscopic surgery to clean and repair the joint but after the mri "everything was fine and I can return to regular activities like running and jumping". they told me "don't even bother checking out your good". Wouldn't even give me a referral for physical therapy or anything like I was wasting thier time. However they did say come on back in a few years when the arthritis sets in. I'm 28 and I have about 10 years before that becomes my reality. Trust your care elsewhere because they will not show you the same respect.

Staff is extremely professional. Nurses and Doctors are concerned about their patients. Get many of their interns from Penn State Hershey.

The pharmacy is fantastic! I had a little problem operating the machine and getting the ticket. But once through that, my prescription was filled in less than 2 minutes! Unbelievable!

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Please contact our Voluntary Services Department for assistance at 717-228-6123.
I was at Lebanon va about 2 yr ago.I did have a private room. As for the other items you asked about i really don't know. You should be able contact the Va and im sure some one will be able to tell you. But one thing for sure you will get excellent care.
The V.A. has a site called( health-e vet) for the veterans . and they also have a very large outreach program so it'd be in your best interest to call the VA or search for , I think it's (va.gov ) site for what's available . For the public . I know if you start at (Health E Vet ) that site alone has a lot of information on what's available .
Yes it does.
Yes building 17 i think its room 119 just ask at the desk where you come in they will direct you
There's no coin or picture sir, so I'm unable to assist you. My apologies.
Sir...thank you for your inquiry and thank you for your service in Korea. Are you currently enrolled in VA healthcare? We can only offer health care to Veterans who are enrolled in VA healthcare. If you are not enrolled, please call the enrollment office at 717-228-6000. Leave a message with you name and a telephone number where they may contact you. If you care enrolled, simply call the optometry office and request an appointment. Their number is 717-272-6621 x 6173.
Yes, we have what we call Community Living Centers located inside the hospital. These Community Living Centers would be called nursing homes in other settings.
Scheduled appointments and walk-ins are receiving their booster shots Tuesdays through Thursdays at the main campus. If you would like to schedule an appointment for your booster, please call the scheduling line at 717-272-6621 x 5105. Thank you.
We have 3 Community Living Centers Tom Miner but I'm not sure what you mean by "senior care facility". We do not have senior or adult day care. And of course, any of our patients, must be Veterans.
Jim Crothers -- the question is a clinical one. VA does supply hearing aids and all related items to Veterans who are enrolled in VA healthcare and demonstrate a need for them. We also supply eye glasses to enrolled Veterans. If you are enrolled then you can reach out directly to the audiology department to schedule an appointment. If you are not currently enrolled in VA healthcare, you will need to do that first. Call our enrollment department at 717-228-6000 and leave a message with your name, last four of your social security number, branch of service and a good contact phone number where they can reach you. Someone will call back in 2-4 business days. Thank you for your question.
If you come in the entrance off Lincoln Ave turn left at the stop sign and the parking lot is on your right.
Yes, Dr. Tosi offers couples counseling on Lebanon campus. Plus, our Behavioral Health Social Workers offer couples counseling at all our VA Community Clinics and both our Vet Centers in Harrisburg & Lancaster also provide couples counseling services.
At this time, we still plan to be open.
Thanks for the question and your service sailor! VA can only provide eye glasses and hearing aids to Veterans who are enrolled in VA health care. The easiest way to do that is to schedule an appointment with your county director of Veterans affairs and bring your discharge papers to them. Or you can call our enrollment number 717-228-6000. They are very busy so you will probably have to leave a message and a good day time phone number where they can reach you. Some will call you back within 48-72 hours. I hope this helps! Good luck.
There are drug donation programs available in 38 states. Donated drugs must be deposited at certain locations and not be expired or opened. Unfortunately, Lebanon VAMC does not take donations. We do have a drop box in the pharmacy waiting area of Building 17 to properly dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. If you had your heart set on donating them, contact the Pennsylvania Department of Health to locate a repository. The program isn't evenly spread throughout the country, so you may have to drive a little ways in order to get to the repository. Apologies we cannot assist with your donation. I hope this information was helpful.
They will be shortly. Watch our social media for the announcement.
Building 17 they will tell you where to go once you're inside
Yes ma'am. Just address it to the in-patient and our mail room will get it to them.
We are not sure what building you are referring to. Are you looking for the vaccine clinic which is building 24?
Good afternoon, the urology clinic is located in Bldg. 1, second floor. The closest entrance would be Building 1 South entrance. Here is a map: https://v2.interactive.medmaps.com/site/lebanonva
Ma'am...please call our Chief of Chaplains at 717-228-6021.
Thank you for your question. The Lebanon VA Medical Center does not have an attorney for Veterans on-site. Here is some information from the VA on legal help for Veterans: https://www.va.gov/ogc/legalservices.asp You may also be able to reach out to your County Director of Veterans Affairs for possible assistance: https://www.dmva.pa.gov/veteransaffairs/Pages/Outreach-and-Reintegration/County-Directors.aspx
I was told (by letter) that they will notify veterans and schedule based on CDC protocols.

Veterans Choice Program (VCP) The Veterans Choice Program is one of several programs through which a Veteran can receive care from a community provider, paid for by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). For example, if a Veteran needs an appointment for a specific type of care, and VA cannot provide the care in a timely manner or the nearest VA medical facility is too far away or too difficult to get to, then a Veteran may be eligible for care through the Veterans Choice Program https://www.va.gov/COMMUNITYCARE/programs/veterans/VCP/index.asp
