EDIT: I’m really surprised by the owner’s response (below). The point of my review was to call attention to their flawed waitlist system and lack of communication. If there’s a chance that a table would never open, then that should be communicated at the outset. What we were told, and thus expected, was that a table would open within 75 minutes or so. Alternatively, if it isn’t looking like a table is going to open up, just send me a text or give me a call. What’s more concerning to me is that my review isn’t the first instance of this feedback. A user named “Garrett B” left a near identical review around 2 months ago. However, at that time, the owner’s response was apologetic and highlighted that they had “worked out the kinks” in their system. In my opinion, there are still a few kinks that need to be worked out. ORIGINAL: We called ahead to confirm that they accepted walk-ins, albeit on a limited basis. When we stopped by ~9:30pm, the staff at the door took down my number and told us it would likely be a 45-minute wait, but at most an hour and 15 min. Sadly, we never got a text or call back that night. I can’t comment on the quality of the drinks or the bar service unfortunately. Next time I’ll have to make a reservation and update this review.

Quaint, cozy spot with great lighting and ambience

Found this craft cocktail bar absolutely amazing. From the creative bartenders to the absolutely top shelf cocktail menu that constantly changes. Not to mention it's a modern day speakeasy hard to find if you're not looking closely for the occasional bouncer standing outside a random door. A must stop if you find yourself in Philadelphia on a random late evening.

Send him down the street to Barnes and Noble to improve his mind. Go collect him later.
Since the above posts, they have moved. They are now at street level.
Seating for the Franklin is downstairs, but they have a tiki bar upstairs where space is less at a premium. As for the Franklin, there is usually a wait to get in on the weekends at peak times, but it moves along fairly quickly. There isn't standing room downstairs, so once you're in, you are in a seat and can order a drink easily from your server.
They didn't not take reservations for the downstairs bar. If seating is limited, you can always try the bar upstairs.
I'm pretty sure they would stick to the no shirt, no shoes, no service model. Besides that is causal and you'd be ok in anything
