I’m pretty sure this is where the Lorax was lifted from. It’s an undiscovered gem of an area. Steve’s ATV was kind and patient. Waited for us after our scheduled time, and gave us extra time to make up for our late start. This was a field trip to explore the fault topography. The mud pit was an unexpected surprise. The landscape was out of this world. I highly recommend. We felt safe the entire time, staff was patient and helpful. You won’t find this level of service in any big city. Thank you to everyone involved.

My sons have twice enjoyed an afternoon using equipment rented from Steve's ATV Rentals. The cycles are in good repair. The PPE keeps you safe. They let you go where you want I. The desert. The rental process and safety training process are quick. Safety training mostly watching a video that covers important topics. We have had great experiences with this vendor. I would highly recommend them.

GROUP: So this was my family's first time doing anything of this nature. But it was an awesome experience that we will DEFINITLEY do again!! Our family did the Saturday morning 2 hour rental (10a to noon) for my son's 9th birthday. Our group had 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 12). RESERVATION: We made reservations on line with VERY little difficulty. And when we accidentally reserved (and paid for) 2 vehicles for onsite rental instead of the off site vehicles, Tracy kindly called us later to explain the incorrect vehicles we had chosen and immediately helped us make corrections. She also reminded us about arriving on time and what a typical Saturday would look like in terms of the wait time and getting geared up. CHECK-IN: On Saturday when we arrived, there were a few large groups waiting to rent and I recall her telling a few people that they had already been "completely booked up" for the day as they were turned away. So MAKE SURE YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY!! We made ours about 10 days in advance. We accidentally got into the rental line by the garage for 10 minutes, instead of the check-in line IN the office (MAKE SURE YOU DONT MAKE OUR MISTAKE) and waited in line. Luckily, one of the instructors was super helpful and noticed that we had no clipboard then steered us in the right direction before too long. ATV RENTAL: The whole check-in process, including the paperwork, instructional videos, gearing up and practice before leaving took maybe 45 minutes. So BE ON TIME!! We were recommended a nice beginner's route by Stacy. The ride was a little bumpy on the desert dirt and it got pretty dusty if you were riding within 5-10 feet of the person in front of you. But it was lots of fun. You even catch a nice breeze just from the speed you are moving at so it cools you slightly. The vehicles were easy to drive (even for my children). My kids did get a little sore on their thumb from pressing the throttle for most of the 2 hours we were gone. My son's helmet somehow didn't have a mouth vent but we didn't realize until we were long gone on our adventure. So he had a hard time breathing and we couldn't figure out why initially, but he fought through it for those 2 hot hours made it back. SO CHECK YOUR HELMET BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF!! It was about 100 degrees outside with DIRECT SUNLIGHT, but my daughter and I wore thin white long sleeves for protection and the helmet actually shaded our faces. The left side of the vehicles get REALLY HOT from the engine and it may feel like your left leg is burning, SO WEAR LONG PANTS!!! The heat and the dust was a little overwhelming for my 9 year old, but Tracy let us know that if anyone ever feels like they can't make it back to the base, that a driver would come pick up the member of the group and their vehicle and bring them back in the truck. Now we know for future reference. OVERALL: It was alot of fun, but REALLY hot and dry. We drank more water in that 2 hours than one would drink in a typical 8 hour work day! EVERYONE at Steve's (and I do mean everyone) was FRIENDLY, UPBEAT and extremely HELPFUL. They understand customer service very well and mind the "little things" such as placing a phone customer on a hold just to answer a quick question for an in-person customer to make sure the customer can maximize their ride time. There were several other little things I could go on about but I know this review has turned into a novel!

Exilirating, fun, and learning experience. I also wanted to add that the staff was super friendly and knowledgable and since we got a late start (our fault for getting lost) they let us extend our 4-hour excursion an extra hour without charge. Super awesome place if you need to rent ATVs.
