I spent over two years in and out of traditional physical therapy, trying to resolve pain and ailments related to running, to the point where I wasn’t able to go for extended runs anymore. It was beyond frustrating. I tried Next Level and I can’t say enough about them. Everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive. Beyond that, and more importantly, their holistic approach is nothing like I’ve experienced before. Traditional physical therapy, as I’ve experienced it, only focuses on the problem area, instead of targeting the behavior and driving factors for your ailment. Next Level was the answer I was looking for.

Next Level (Physical Therapy) is just that NEXT LEVEL ... I have been suffering with sciatica for a number of years. I had limited my physical activities (running, basketball, etc) due to my limited range of motion and flexibility. I did 8 weeks with Dr Shannon and she got be back to doing the things I love to do.. I am 60 and I am in the weight room 3 days a week and had been active on the basketball court until a few years ago. She has gotten me back on the court and I am performing like I did when I was in my 30s. If you doubt I got video. Next Level Physical Therapy I recommend as something you should try regardless of your age. They have a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the body and will get you back into being active again. What are you waiting on? If you want to get back into the game of life and activities, make that call and get an appointment and get your life back.

So much to say about Next Level--this place changed my life. As a former ballet dancer, I struggled with recurring lower back pain that started in my late teens and resurfaced at critical moments in my fitness journey for many years after. I had cortisone shots and multiple rounds of physical therapy where I'd been given a similar exercise progression, strengthening hips, glutes and core. I would get back in the gym and be ok for a while, but as soon as I started to push my training would find myself back in pain. When I came to Next Level, I immediately noticed this was a different type of program. Dr. Leor and Matt greeted me with a smile, and the intake interview was a genuine conversation where I was treated as a person and not a collection of symptoms. At my first appointment, they walked me through TWO exercises and watched the execution of every single rep to make sure I was feeling it correctly. I was then given specific homework to do each day to reinforce the new movement patterns. By my next appointment, I already noticed a major difference. The exercises continued to progress, and my training began to progress as well--by week 5 I was deadlifting more than I had in years, and PAIN-FREE. I had not thought this was possible. By week 10, I felt like a completely different person--not only had my overall strength and sense of coordination transformed, I now had the tools to manage pain and overcome challenges as they arose. What the professionals at Next Level understand is how to treat the source of pain by treating the body as a whole, and how movement as medicine extends past the time you spend at the gym. This is a highly individualized approach and sets you up for long-term success. Dr. Leor is skilled, knowledgeable, kind, extremely thoughtful, and also hilarious! The appointments flew by each time...but make no mistake, I'd leave drenched in sweat. I would recommend Next Level to any athlete or active person struggling with pain. Get ready to transform your life. They are experts at what they do.

During Covid I was working out and in the best shape of my life until I herniated to disks and had 2 pinched nerves. I had dealt with back issues for 15 years and had already had one surgery. But this time I lost almost all control of my left leg, had 100% foot drop and was in excruciating pain. I went to traditional physical therapy and was frustrated because I was doing the same exercises that everyone else with a “back issue” was doing. And it wasn’t working. I found Next Level Physical Therapy from a YouTube commercial and I was very skeptical on how online physical therapy could help. But at this point, I was willing to try anything. During my online assessment, Colin and the team did their evaluation and it was like they knew my whole physical history just by running their tests and seeing the results. The plan they came up with was designed specifically for me. Even over Zoom, Colin would constantly talk to me to make sure I was getting the exact results for each movement or exercise and could give me helpful cues to correct when needed. I immediately started seeing results. I’ll admit, most of the stretches and movements I had never seen before. And when he’d show me them I’d wonder how they would help. And then I would do them and was amazed on the results!!! As I started seeing results, Colin kept updating my plan and initiating new stretches and movements. After a few months, I was back and feel like I’m better physically than I’ve ever been in my life. I truly owe it all to Colin for my recovery. And not only is he a great physical therapist but you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well being. I’m so thankful that I saw that YouTube commercial and I would recommend Colin and the Next Level Physical Therapy Team to anyone in pain and looking to get the best recovery possible.
