This morning, 8/4/22, I was a customer at Taft Road Wegmans. I was there to purchase dog food for my Great Dane. They had one bag of the $50 brand my dog is required to eat. The bag had a tear on the bottom and the Wegmans staff had tried to cover the tear with a sticker! I had no choice but to purchase. I went through the self checkout lane and pointed out the issue to the representative. She agreed it was absurd to sell the food in this condition and recommended I go to customer service for a possible discount. The customer service representative pretty much told me to "talk a walk" and they would not do anything. Wegmans has become a sad greedy organization. How could they feel selling a torn bag of dog food meets their supposed "every day you get our best" slogan? Sad. I was not looking for anything more than a different bag or something to take into account the food spilling out of the bottom. Just because Wegmans has built this representation of quality doesn't mean they can abandon the effort it takes to maintain quality. Reputation only goes so far.

Found most of what I was looking for. Meat prices were great. My cashier was sweet. She made sure my bags weren't too heavy because of my pregnancy. And she packed everything perfect including putting my meat separate in a brown bag away from all my other groceries.

Please come to Lower Keys,FL .( Key West,FL) for me to get out of the kitchen 5 nights a week!! Everything was wonderful!! Loved how we were able to purchase a cooler, baby wipes, coffee, and dinner made to order all in one location with reasonable prices!

Wegmans Taft Road location is incredible. All staff are friendly and helpful. Recently an enployee, Isiah has helped me a couple of times and he is one that should be recognized as a wonderful example of great customer service. I shop at this Wegmans exclusively and will continue to do so as I have always found the staff to be incredible!
