I've only taken someone there to get two zippers. The first visit there was a very helpful older lady. The second visit, she wasn't there but a young lady offered her assistance. She however couldn't really help and finally just gave up. A customer overheard our conversation between my friend and I about the kind of zipper we were trying to find and offered a suggestion which eventually worked out for my friend. The store is clean but seems understaffed at the time we visited.

It's not as good as AC Moore was, but since they've closed Joanne's has taken over as my favorite craft store. Lots to pick from, prices are reasonable. Great yarn sales.

No catalog. I believe they sell doll parts and bodies to create your own doll.

They don't sell used machines, however, the previous suggestion is good advice.

At the Whitehall store, do you have sewing machines out of the box in a display area? I'd like to purchase a new machine but I'd like to look at a few first rather than just reading about them on the box.
