I had amber help me with resize for my engagement ring and she was amazing. She was explaining everything and asking me, trying to give me the best deal possible.

Customer service was awesome, was greeted by a very kind woman who initially helped me, her warm welcome won me over. Then Manager Sophie helped & was incredibly sweet, she went above & beyond to help me find the perfect items. All the ladies at this location were very nice. Definitely a great experience.

After asking my fiancé to marry me literally an hour earlier), we visited this location to have the ring resized. There was one representative available who made eye contact but put off greeting us (which I assume was due to us not looking at the merchandise upon entering). When she realized no one else was available to assist us she came over and greeted us in a cold manner. We explained what we needed but were hesitant due to the turn around time and having not had a chance to show the ring to family yet. She rushed us to make a decision so we agreed, but within 5 minutes I returned to the store to ask if we could bring it back at another time. The same associate became visibly frustrated and acted as though that was an unreasonable request but finally returned the ring to me. After finally getting the ring resized, my fiancé was concerned that it felt a bit to lose, but the same associate reassured her that it would be fine and rushed her out again. I later took the ring back to get it resized again after hearing about her experience. While at the store I ran into the same associate, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and assumed that the last time she may have been having a rough day. I asking about getting the ring sized down again and was informed it was impossible to go smaller. She told me that my only option would be to add metal to the inside of the ring and stated that it would cost me, even with the rings extended warranty (which includes resizing). After declining, she stated that she remembered me from last time and then proceeded to tell me that the issue was due to me buying a “cheap” ring (I bought it from Kay) and I should have sprung for something more expensive. At this point I chose to take the ring back and walked out. Today my fiancé and I visited a different Kay Jewelers location, explained the situation, and were informed that it would be no problem to resize the ring. The new experience was so much more pleasant that we’ll be making any future purchases at this second location. I understand that it’s a sales job, but I have never been treated so poorly by an associate before. Make a friend, make a sale for life. I hope she learns that soon.

I am very disappointed with the treatment that I have recieved at this store location from Deanne, the supervisor. The first time I walked in there she discriminated me for my appearance or race and treated me as an unvalued individual. Once she saw I was approved to buy, she got excited like she couldn't believe it and yelling to the other employee that I got approved. She saw me as a sale and treated me better. I proceeded to buy an engagement ring because it was very important and I tried to let it go. I have recently spent thousands of dollars here on two purchases. Today, I went in to make a third purchase and Robbie was a great help, until Deanne ruined everything and I left. She tried to take over the sale from Robbie and told him to be quiet. She tried to show me a pamphlet when I wanted to see the jewelry size in person. Robbie told me about a promotion coming up and she stated that they're not doing that promotion. I told her that I was comfortable being helped by Robbie and she disregarded me and continue to get involved. She humiliated me by saying the peice I was trying to buy was too small and that the bigger one was better and it was $4,000 upfront. Everyone in the store could hear her because she made sure to be loud. Deanne will repeatedly disrespect and degrade customers and coworkers. I do not feel comfortable going back. If you are not welcomed from the start, that's a red flag.
