Beware of this place. The landlord is too weird. She tried to enter my apt to “check for a leak” when I explicitly asked her for an hours notice(the day before) as I was home alone, pregnant and so ill at the time. Then I accidentally overpaid(by double) my rent two weeks after giving birth to my son. This turned into me having to corner her for the partial return, where she subsequently served me an eviction notice stating I wouldn’t allow her in my apt and that I was threatening to her. All of this just to turn around and give me a gleaming recommendation to my current landlord. In hindsight, it was clear she lied about why the previous tenant in my apt also left. I guess if you’re young and know your rights, you’ll have problems with her, too. & Utilize the door chain!!
