Ordered a Stromboli and calzone. Food was FRESH, HOT AND DELICIOUS. The restaurant itself was really hot inside but it was also a 90+° day. We used to frequent another pizza place up Holland Rd but we will be ordering from Big Apple moving forward.

I order a pizza and chicken parm sub. The chicken parm is NOT CHICKEN PARM!! There is NO sauce on the sub. Just dry chicken and cheese!!! Ummm that is NOT a chicken parm sub!!! The pizza is also NOT good. The cheese is very generic and tastes funny. This is not NY pizza because it looks like NY pizza. Owners are also NOT Italian. AND they charged a surcharge???? For what??? I picked up my food. You charged me to make it? But if you didn't have customers, you wouldn't have a business. Anyway, I would NOT recommend. It was not hood.

I decided to try this place after finding their pamphlet in the mail. I've had some poorly prepared food before, but this place has successfully topped them all. Not only was our food poorly made and overcooked, all the ingredients used in our meals tasted exceptionally cheap. My son got the NY Buffalo Chicken wrap and couldn't finish it. He complained that the chicken was mushy, the sauce was really salty, and the wrap was dry without the ranch dipping sauce. I took a bite and can confirm everything he said was true. Despite the salty flavor and mushy texture, it was at least edible. I got the stuff shells. It was a lesson and a reminder to never order this unless you can confirm the expertise of the chef. It looked edible, but I was disappointed after cutting into it. The mozzarella cheese they use was probably the cheapest you can buy and was so baked on that it was like cutting into rubber. I'm assuming the shells were stuffed with Ricotta cheese, but it was so dry, flavorless, and gritty that I couldn't really tell what it was. I got halfway through the meal, and couldn't stomach the rest. My wife got the Gyro. There was so much grease in it that it actually broke the Tzatziki sauce and turned the pita into mush. She had thrown it away before I could snap a picture of it, and I wasn't about to fish it out of the garbage. She tried to eat it, but the mushy pita bread and nasty broken sauce were deal breakers for her. Normally, I give a place a few tries even after a bad experience. But, to fail so completely from start to finish on every item in my order is inexcusable and undeserving of future patronage.

We live nearby and finally decided to try this place and so glad we did. Best NY style pizza we've had in years. Now a regular customer and completely satisfied with all the other menu items we've tried. Friendly service and food that is just as good and consistently the same time after time as the first time we ordered it. Just wish we started coming here sooner.

I eat here often and they care about the quality and freshness quality of the food a lot more than anywhere else. In shop my order might take up to 30 minutes but I can see it being cooked and prepared the whole time. There’s no visual cut off from the kitchen so you know what you are getting.
