We rented catfish cabin for the weekend. And the cabin was very nice and very clean. You can see the bait shop from the porch. And the lake was close a 1 min walk frim the cabin. Totally worth the money

I like stopping by when on motorcycle rides. They charged me 5.00 for a day pass... which would be cheap if i was coming for an hour or more.. but 5.00 for a quick ride thru the park and a few minutes looking at the lake seemed excessive. It is pretty... i would love to camp there.

My family and I love Cheney. It's nearby, it's pretty, it's clean. The camp hosts at Cheney are very kind and helpful should you ever need anything. Great place to picnic, swim and/or camp. You can get a day pass or an overnight pass for about $5 or $10. Worth it!

Wonderful spot for a short weekend getaway. The park is well kept and lots of fun. I’ve been going here since I was a small child and still love it! I’ve enjoyed the sailing offered, water sports, boating, swimming, and lots of sunshine while making great memories with friends and family. They’ve recently built out some new additions to the park for public use, such as horseshoe pits, new playgrounds, and lots of fun yard games for kids and adults of all ages. I highly recommend this place. I love it!

If you use a primitive site it is $13 the first night $10 each additional night
Definitely call the main office to check that!
$23 for an RV with electric and water, $5 to enter the park per car.
$5 a day and $17 for a primitive campground.
We just pay the $5 vehicle fee for 24 hours and park fish and sleep. As long as you don't take up a camp sight they don't hassle you
There are primitive sites in some areas. If you want amenities you'll have to give up a little privacy. Awesome place either way.
At the entrance...you put your money into one of their envelopes and than into a box
just pick the one you want pay and set up. they have a self pay station if office is closed
the website has price listing. I think it varies at time of year also. May have to call.
There is a swimming section, but there is also a nice area over by the Greifer section, which is close to the cabin rentals.
Depends on cabin. They have different ones. Contact their office
Sorry horses are not allowed at Cheney. But primitive sites are $13 first night and $10 each additional night.
No, but you can rent a regular RV slot that has electric and water😊
$3.59 it's 90%
I'm a camp host at Cheney Lake. Primitive sites (tents no hook ups) are all the same price $13 the first night $10 each additional night.
Very few if so but there are several dump stations
I would assume State Park policy applies to all state parks
Yes, they have cabins and the price depends on whether or not you are staying during the season or outside of the season. Additionally the price also depends on the size of cabin you want.
At the Cheney State Park office. They have all kinds of maps and pamphlets. You can also buy park permits and fishing licenses there.
Google Ks state parks. I'd imagine
Yes their is and it is open that weekend
