I'm sure its fine if you come equipped with an RV but I strongly advise against tent camping. I could have had the same experience camping in a Safeway parking lot. The ice would be cheaper too since it's $9 a bag here. Loud and very close neighbors, foot traffic right beside the tents, loud traffic noise from the major highway right beside the campground, and hard ground that bent multiple tent stakes. Check out the picture for the amount of light pollution from the SPOT LIGHT on the "events" building right beside the tents directed right into them.

Booked one night here as we were passing through. Lots of sketchy areas as we drove closer and closer to the park. Park was clean but ridiculously overpriced. Looks nothing like it does on their website. Woke up this morning to find that three of our high end bikes were stolen from the back of our truck. Lock was cut sometime between 11:30pm and 6:45am. Employees tried to contact the manager- he didn’t return their calls or texts for nearly four hours. He then refused to speak with us. Told his employee that he looked at the security footage from home (we were three sites from the main office) and said nothing was on it- but he still refused to even speak with us over the phone. Said it was his day off. Employee told us things are “often” stolen and the thieves escape down the water drainage ditch. They had a camera on the drainage ditch but apparently we’re supposed to trust the manager who refused to speak with us when he said that it showed nothing. Terrible way to manage a business and treat your customers. Two sheriff’s cars showed up to another site a few hours later- apparently for something unrelated. This is not a safe place to stay and if you have any trouble- do NOT expect management to help you.

We stayed in a bunkhouse that was comfortable for our family of four. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily and set up well. The park was well kept. It is very tight and was very full but everyone was friendly. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent service when first arriving, followed by extremely clean bathrooms that are well laid out. The park is a bit tight and all campers are packed in like sardines, but it was a very nice experience. Dog park and playground was conveniently located across from our campgrounds and was very clean. Overall, would definitely stay there again as a local trip to get the camper up and running for the season.

No
This is available in your confirmation email.
We had a premiun pull-through costing $60
Yes Good location, great people but they pack you in like cord wood.
Fire rings, at most. No grills. Public grill at upper pool\ horse shoe area.
Yes they absolutely do but I am surprised they aren't just full every day with the amount of homeless people we have here in Colorado Spring panhandling on every street corner in town.
Yes, but they do NOT allow Pitbulls. Only place in Colorado Springs that I am aware of that doesn't as there is no Pitbull ban in the Springs. Lisa Bartley would be allowed to have a pit because it is a service dog. Directly from their website......."Breeds such as Doberman, Rottweiler and Pit Bulls are not accepted. Not following these rules is grounds for eviction without a refund."
I think I saw a sign in the office posted
Yes we provide pillows and blankets is all of our bunkhouses, cottages and cabins
My name is Lloyd and I work for the RV Resort. We have a food truck that serves breakfast on weekends.
The winter time rate last year was $750/month plus electricity. You can purchase your propane as needed on site, convenient. The price goes up quite alot in the summer months as with most year round campgrounds in tourist areas
Call the office, we have a 2004 rig in good shape no problems around the country
Yes, they allow monthly rentals. Great place, well kept and clean. Go to their website and you will see a pop up screen that has a form for you to complete with the beginning month and ending month you would like to stay. Very easy. They will call you
Electric and or water. Nothing free. You could Google free tent camping but I don't know of any where
Yes! They absolutely will accomodate your situation! Just call the RV Park in advance and they will be more than happy to take care of ya!
Yes we have a grill you can cook on. Thanks, Garden of the Gods Management
Hi Makayla, If you can contact our office, we can get you a customized quote! Our number is 719-475-9450. We are happy to help. Thank you for considering Garden of the Gods RV Resort!!
Pricing depends on when you're staying at the park you can go online and put in the dates that you wish to stay there as well as the age range and the amount of campers that you have at that point you should be able to submit that and it should give you a roundabout cost
Please call us at the office so we can better understand what you are looking for
There is no monthly tent camping. RV monthlies are winter season only and you have to call for prices as they can change. Most monthly prices I have found in Colorado RV parks low end had been $500 and high end $950. This does not include electric. To give you a ballpark what this park may be.
The current owners purchased the property in 2012, before this it was a campground for some time. After over $800k in renovations, it was reopened in 2013 as Garden of the Gods RV Resort.
Yes they do. We stayed 5 days it was around 130 with electricity and water. Great place to camp.
Pools open around Memorial Day and close around Labor Day. Weather permitting.
Dear Ms. Rochau, My name is Lloyd Lauland, President of RVC Outdoor Destinations, owner of the Garden of the Gods RV Resort. Our "dump fee" for your sewer tank is $16.00 and there is no charge for your fresh water refill.
Not in the Summer months.
I don't believe there are. If I remember correctly, they had a couple of group firepits.
Be very careful, our power went out in the middle of the night when noting was pulling any power. We were in space 50, and the male manager blamed our surge protector. However, it power "browned " out during the evening while we were watching tv. We're not willing to take a chance with power surges. Additionally there were less than a dozen RV's there and very cool so no AC running by anyone. BE CAREFUL
Absolutely, great place to stay.
They are. Spaces are rather close together though.
