I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels, I'm talking well north of 500 in my time and I can say without reservation that this was the most pleasant, congenial and welcoming check-in I think I have ever had. John checked me in and not only made sure that I felt comfortable and at home, but had a nice gift ready, answers to questions I didn't even know that I had, which turned out to be very helpful! and Just an incredible, welcoming and homey feeling. The rooms and amenities are pretty standard for most Marriott's but the check-in, the welcome and the hospitality is second to none.

I am currently going on day 15 of my 31 day stent here at the Townplace Suites in Boise. I can honestly say that as of now I would give this place 6 stars. The staff is super friendly and professional, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is defiantly on point!! I have personally seen the manager helping the cleaning staff get rooms ready for the days check ins. The desk clerks are great to talk to, and know all the good hangout / dinner spots. I will definitely stay here again especially if the next 15 days go just as good as the first 15.

We were seriously dissappointed in this TownePlace Suites. First of all, the room was not as clean as you would expect for $300 per night. There was splatter all over the bathroom mirror and long black hair all over the floors. The indoor pool was not heated, the hot tub was broken. The front desk took almost 20 minutes to acknolwedge us when we first arrived. The free breakfast was really not good and really lacked variety or freshness. The beds did not have the usual Marriott pillows and blankets. We left a night early. Definitly NOT worth $300 per night.

Very average. Maintenance and cleaning need to be improved. My room had paint splattered on the cabinets and a lamp. There is rice reminents on the dishwasher and drawers. The sink didn't drain adequately and the shower curtain was so long you were stepping on it while showering. Also, avoid the side of the hotel nearest Capital Blvd as it is noisier from the traffic.
