The employees are very professional, responsive, friendly, and helpful if needed. The equipment is in very good condition and functions properly.

Good experience but terrible contract, no communication (I got the $22 every two weeks). You will not receive notification for when your contract is ending and it automatically rolls over month-to-month after your 12 month term ends. So if you plan on leaving the gym after twelve months, set a 30 day notice on your calendar (because you have to write a letter to them at least 30 days in advance) if you don't want to end up paying afterwards. Fair warning and an exit plan for those on the twelve month contract. Other than that, personal training is great!

My 3 kids and I have been members here for over 6 yrs and we love it. I trained my little ones for sports with mostly Olympic lifts. If you are thinking of joining just do it. It has just about everything you need.

TLDR: They explicitly lied to me about pricing so that I would sign up and are now threatening to attack my credit if I don’t pay an additional $70 (in addition to the $55 I have already paid) for a membership of less than 3 weeks. I wanted a place to workout for the 2.5 weeks I would be living in Murfreesboro. I explained this to the rep who then went over the pricing with me. She explained that it would be a $40 sign-up fee and then $15 every two weeks. Additionally there is a $40 “maintenance fee” that is paid after 30 days. I said I no longer was interested because it wasn’t worth it to pay $110 for 3 weeks. The woman explained that I wouldn’t have to pay that fee because I could just cancel it prior to the 30 day cutoff. So I signed up. Yesterday I went to cancel my membership and was told in order to cancel my membership I needed to pay a $30 cancellation fee in addition to the $40 maintenance fee in order to cancel my membership. I argued with them because this is the exact opposite of what I was told or I would not have signed up and they are now threatening to attack my credit if I don’t pay it. I have literally never seen such an insanely dishonest business practice. They explicitly lied to me so that I would sign up and are now trying to shake me down for money. $120 for 3 weeks. Do not do business with this company.

Gold’s Gym South is open 24 hours Monday through Thursday.
This may be do to the limited amount of staffing, as people aren't willing to risk their health for us to work out. Some of the employees have families, and it just isn't worth the risk. I respect that decision.
No, the gym is open, but there are no classes or childcare
