Being on Social Security as my only income, as food and utilities have cost increases I have depended on Joseph's Storehouse for our food.. I am thankful and grateful for their heart for those who have a need. The volunteers are amazing, not just working for loading our cars, but also ready to pray with us.

Not as a general rule, we don't. We used to many years ago. Now we do collect winter clothing at the end of summer, such as coats, scarves, gloves, but not clothing in general.

Our Februrary give-aways days are Thursday, Feb. 24 or Saturday Feb. 26. We begin at 8:30 and our gates close at 11:30. It's a drive-through so you will need to get in line and stay in your car. Someone will come to you. Thank you!
Joseph's Storehouse is opened to public Mon - Thurs from 8:45AM - 11:15AM for Emergency Food distribution, if the monthly drive-through Give-Away on the last Saturday of the month and Thursday before (can come either day) is missed. We can give food to each household once a month. USDA Food is available to those who qualify. Thanks!

No. We are only open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-11:30am. Photo ID & proof of residence. BEGINNING MONDAY, DECEMBER 21, WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY UNTIL MONDAY, JANUARY 4. Our large food pick up days were this past Thursday & Friday. Blessings.
Yes, Our October Give-Away is offered on two days this month...Thursday, Oct. 29th for sick, elderly and those with medical issues...and again, on Saturday, Oct 31st for all others. It is still a drive-through food distribution because of Covid, and we ask everyone to remain in their vehicles and get in line. We will come to you. It will begin around 8:30AM and we stop at 11:30AM. If you are new to Joseph Storehouse, we will need proof of address such as a piece of mail, and a photo ID, such as Drivers Licenses. Thank you!

We are open Mon-Thurs 9-11 AM for emergency situations. Our regular monthly giveaway is always this last Saturday of the month, which happens to be this Saturday the 25th. If you can wait until Saturday, we are open 8:30-11:30 on the giveaway. You only have Tuesday & Wednesday left this week for emergency assistance because this Thursday is the elderly/disabled giveaway day (always the Thursday before the last Saturday).

Bring picture ID, proof of address (Wilson County residents primarily, but we do extend assistance to Trousdale, Smith and DeKalb County residents when we have availability), and proof of government assistance or total household income (everyone in the household, any type of income).
If you're disabled or a senior, it's on Thursday the 29th (disabled has to have statement of disability from doctor). Otherwise, regular pickup is Saturday, August 31st. It's always the last Thursday and Saturday of the month except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Emergency food given M-F 8am-11am.

We do allow over that income limit for emergencies, but you can't get USDA commodities if you're over the limit. Bring in picture ID, proof of address and total household income. Explain your emergency situation.

Distribution for December was a week early because of Christmas. There is one-time emergency distribution available, though. They're open today from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, then they'll be closed until Tuesday, the day after Christmas.

No their donations mainly come from grocery stores and restaurants I've never known anyone to take a personal donation but I'm not 100% sure if you can or can't take something individually
As far as I know you can only go when they are giving the food out. And that was today. Next month will be the on Saturday the week before Christmas. Normally it is the last Saturday of the month. You may try to call them and check the dates for Christmas just incase.
Thursday is for the disabled and Saturday is for everyone else.
