“Timeless elegance in a relaxing setting on the beach” Have heard about K&P for years and was so excited to book a trip there! It lived up to its reputation of being a fine hotel. The views from the ocean front room were gorgeous, loved having a roomy balcony in which to wind down after a day of golf, walking on the beach or relaxing by the gorgeous pool. The room was ample size, the bed super comfy with luxe linens, the bathroom had nice fixtures, plush towels and top of the line toiletries. We had breakfasts and dinner there and the menu for both had a great selection and the prices were very, very reasonable. We played golf at their course about 20 minutes away and it was in great condition, and very scenic. Four holes on the back nine go out into the marsh and has some of the most beautiful scenery of any course along the SC or Georgia coast. Looking so forward to going back, it is the perfect half way stop on our way to Florida from North Carolina or for a week getaway with family.

I want to give zero stars! The guy at the front desk was really rude! I get there to pay for the room you can’t go inside you have to talk on the phone outside of the building that wasn’t clean! He doesn’t great you! He takes my payment and immediately say if you make to much noise you will be put out! Go to the room the air conditioner doesn’t work! I call to tell the front desk clerk he gives me another room which is dirty paint stains all over the carpet blood on the door roar chicken on the steps! Just disgusting! I was very disappointed I could have booked with another hotel! This place needs to be shut down! I will be seeking action! They’re racist poor housekeeping poor customer service !

Absolutely the worst Choice Hotel property at which I have ever stayed. The non-smoking room which I reserved was not non-smoking. The desk staff indicated that they have been unable to stop guests from smoking. The hot breakfast was cold; there were biscuits and bagels, but no butter or cream cheese. They were "out" at 9:00 AM. Breakfast is 6-10AM. We had no maid service for our three day stay. No towels changed, beds not made, and trash never emptied. NEVER again.

This place needs to be shut down!!!! After driving 15 hours, we arrive at the hotel. Non smoking rooms will smell like smoke, have cigarettes burns everywhere!! Pillows were dirty, shower had hairs all in it, everything was very disgusting. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Needless to say, we went to the front office. It was past 10 pm and the guy talked to us on the phone and would never open the door. He talked to us through a little slot on door. Very unprofessional. He better be glad he refunded our money!!!! We stayed 25 minutes and left. Safe yourself the troubles.
