This place is amazing! Just wanted to point out how many mini figure paints and supplies they have. Also as all the other photos point out, amazing board game selection and singles for cards and card packs!

Guardians has a big variety of tabletop games, cards, dice, books and more. They are following covid restrictions and the staff is really helpful.

It had been just over two years since my last visit to GG, so I wasn't used to the layout at all. An employee helped me find what I was searching for very quickly. Even though the store was decently busy, checkout was quick and smooth, even with me talking up the cashier. I'll definitely be back soon, I'm getting back into MTG, after almost a decade of not playing.

Good! Masks are worn, baskets are cleaned and sanitized, hand sanitizer is used when you enter. I felt very safe shopping here.
Yes! I used to go.
Yes they do. Here the link to their website: https://ggportland.com/ They don't ship any items that I know of, but they do offer curbside pickup if the time your looking for is available and you spend over $5.
Magic for sure. I would assume the others as well.
If we are out of the specific branded tokens you are looking for, we sell many alternative game bits and pieces that could be substituted, many of which are arguably more fun and eye catching.
Yep
There is a beer bar that opens at noon but only packaged snacks for food.
Hi. We do not traditionally stock posters. The closest item we have to posters are wall scrolls. Thanks!
Hi Kaya. We no longer host YGO tournaments, and we don’t sell any YGO products. In our neighborhood, there is TOTL Games. They sell video games, board games, and are an official YGO store. Check them out! Kaebel Hashitani, Operations Admin Guardian Games
This is the only Guardian Games location, however we do have a sister store called Rainy Day Games located in Aloha OR. Our gift cards are available for purchase and use at either location. Come check us out!
We no longer buy used video games or systems. We now just sell board games, card games, roleplaying games, and miniatures. Good luck in your quest!
Yes, they buy Pokemon and MTG cards. Prices are about average for a lgs, don't expect to get more than 50% of the cards value back in cash. Definitely more like 60-70% in store credit though.
Yes we have a lot of Games Workshop products! Feel free to call the store to ask about specific products. 503-238-4000
Hi Dario. Yes, we still hold YuGiOh tournaments on Thursdays, from 4pm-8pm. We also have YGO on Saturday nights, from 7pm-10pm. We'd love to have you join us. You can keep up to date with events at Guardian Games via our online calendar: https://ggportland.com/calendar/ Thanks! Kaebel Hashitani, Event Logistics Guardian Games
That is a question best answered by the experts at The Guardian....this google map is kinda more like if someone out there knows things like the hours of the store ...and if there is parking nearby kinda stuff....😀....but good luck.
You best bet is going through all of you card finding out what kind of card it is (rare or common etc.) Then take them all your rares and have fun most uncommons and commons they probably have depending on the game, so the card maybe only worth $00.15 vs a rare which can be anywhere from $1 - $200 Ive seen cards at a pretty high cost but I go there every weekend almost they are really helpful with things like if you dont want to do it all by yourself like me lol
They have a good size collection of models and I believe I saw at least a few Gundam model kits.
We accept applications at any time. Find out more on our website.
Yes we sell Nintendo 64 games as well as other retro and newer games.
Yes indeed! We have singles, boosters, starter decks, etc. We also have tourneys each week on Thursday.
Outside food is welcome. We ask that you provide your own utensils and such. And clean up when done.
They buy and sell singles
Hello there! Yes we sell collectible cards, playing cards, and card games of all types. Feel free to call us or stop by if there are specific card games you are looking for.
They sell yugioh cards but they seem to specialize with pokemon more. Not sure about tournaments though. You'll have to visit there to get their schedule.
Agree. Craigslist or Ebay. Chances are, if you had a rare and ultra valuable card you'd definitely know. Most of them sparkle. And are in japanese.
