we got pulled over around 11:30 at night for not using our blinker out of a gas station and claimed we looked "lost" and grabbed our license and registration and asked for my name, which i was just a passenger in the car. he acted highly suspicious of us and verbally said that and had a bad attitude. Maybe someone impersonating an office because all of the personal questions. L cop

Harassment is all I'm saying. Sitting in your car isn't illegal. Need to stop just walking up to people's cars harassing them.

There was a car parked in our driveway and I called dispatch at the Washington Police Department. They were very courteous and an officer called me when he got to our house, maybe 15 minutes later. He was going to try to find the owner of the car and is going to let me know. Very fast, courteous, thank you Washington Police Dept.

We do not per se, however we do have a Citizen's Academy for those interested in how our Police Department functions. Also we do have a program called Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS). If you are interested in either program the Lieutenant may be contacted through the police department for additional information.
