My in laws are buried there. They bought 4 plots in their early 20’s. Both sets of my husbands grandparents are buried there also. They would be in their 90’s now. You would think being a Catholic Cemetery it would be better taken care of. Perpetual care is a joke. The grass is never taken care of. My in laws have a flat stone and from a distance it looks like a hole, you can’t see the headstone because it hasn’t been trimmed in a long time. So when we go out to put a flower on all 3 graves we take out trimmer and trim the 3 plots. We shouldn’t have to do this. The Archdiocese should be a shamed of themselves.

Our family has had a grave site at SS Peter&Paul since 1973. We have a large site along the perimeter of the cemetery's border with an alley. A couple of years ago we discovered that a car had apparently crashed through the chain link fencing around the cemetery on that border and knocked over our headstone. The car left a black mar on the back of the 6' headstone as evidence of the event. The cemetery had afixed the large headstone back onto it's pedestal, but the damaged fencing and shrubbery were still present. I called the cemetery and issued a complaint and corrective action request to prevent future damage to our gravesite from another such incident. The ensuing discussions were with the head caretaker at the cemetery. To keep this short, he was most responsive and followed through on everything he said they would do. I'd give him a 5 star that's for sure. I put 4 down because I think someone from the cemetery management should have reached out to us when the damage occurred. That did not happen See the corrective action the cemetery performed in the pics below. We are happy with it. Word to others, your homeowners insurance is very limited dollar wise for claims against it for headstone replacement. Ours would have only covered about a tenth the value of replacement had the headstone been broken.
