Once upon a time there was a transam cyclist who was on a quest to bike from Oregon to Virginia. After the first 6 weeks or so on the road a clicking noise in her pedal emerged. She took her trusty steed to a bike shop, but alas! They could not find the source of the click. With a little lube and finnicking the clicking magically stopped. Or so it seemed. After a few weeks the clicking came back, now even louder than before, at a very inopportune time. You see, the cyclist was passing through rural Missouri and all the loose dogs could hear the cyclist coming a mile away. They chased the poor cyclist and bared their teeth at her. The clicking drove the cyclist to the edge of insanity. Shaken and determined to fix the click, the cyclist took the bike to a second shop. This time, they found her bottom bracket was rusty and replaced it. Optimistic, the cyclist returned to the road. Not only was the clicking LOUDER than ever, but the shop had messed with her front derailleur making for rough shifting and the chain falling off. Finally, in one last desperate attempt to berid herself of these cycling woes, the transam cyclist's father-in-law picked her and her bike up and took her to see the Cyclery in Shiloh. The cyclery knew the cyclist needed to return to the road quickly, where she belonged, for she still had a long way to finish her journey. Within a few hours, they had discovered the true source of the mysterious clicking pedal, fixed it, and reset and fixed her front derailleur. Thanks to the cyclery's support, thee transam cyclist is now back on the road with her bike operating as smooth as ever. It was just in time, and may even save her life, as she battles the wild dogs of eastern Kentucky. THE END (True story though, these guys were quick, knowledgeable, and undid the bad work of a previous shop. Thank you so much!!)
