On September 14, I filled a complaint and requested the call back about 2 packages going to Wood River, IL from Belleville, IL. Label printed and picked up on August 30, arrived in Memphis TN on Sept 1st. returned and arrived in St. Louis Regional Facility on Sept 1st and now in Transit. As of today, neither person has gotten these packages and no call from the Dutch Hollow Post Office. That is just one of the many ways, the system is not working. I have notices to vote my stock shares that arrive 2-3 weeks after the voting ended and they were mailed 2 months earlier. The current Post Master General has made changes to guarantee the system no longer works. I think it is time for a class action lawsuit against the USPS for stealing our money and not providing the service. The one form of government we all trusted is failing us. When will Congress or the President act?

Tried creating an inquiry form to speak with the postmaster about registering our new construction home. Haven’t received a call back in about a week now even though the clerk said it would be 48 hours. We just moved here and need to register our house in order to receive important documents and mail.

I live less than a mile from the Dutch Hollow office yet mail gets delivered late in evening, sometimes 9pm. Or not at all. Outgoing mail has been in box for 2 days. Never saw a truck yesterday at all....terrible service.

Had an international package lost for over a month due to re-delivery schedules. Spoke to supervisor Mandy 4 times, and she couldn't help locate the package at all and just directed us to pick up at the Fairview heights office each time. The package never made it to Fairview heights office to be picked up. Called back and got to speak with another supervisor Shamieka, not only did she go above and beyond and out of her way to help us. She was super friendly and helpful. This angel found our package!! Which has been sitting there for over a month! Don't waste your time speaking to anyone else but Shamieka, she gets the job done!!

USPS workers are doing the best they can but increased demand, staff shortages due to covid-19, and massive systemic management issues have been crippling the system. Your package will arrive, it's just a matter of when. Until operational and budgetary issues are resolved at the top levels of the organization, you should consider UPS or FedEx for anything you need to deliver reliably.
