Clean and well kept. Merry go round is gone, it was replaced with grass. They've add a concrete bags set and a bocce ball course. The pavilion is nice and there is a walking path around the park too.

Wonderful park for a walk, because it is big! The playground is good, but not one of the best. However, it is great that the shelter is right next to the playground. It does not have enough parking, usually you wl see cars parked on the street

Can always throw water on yourself with the water fountain! Had 5 kids drunk their heads in had a great time
There is a dog park at Maxwell Park. A fenced in area for both large and small dogs. I'm not particularly a fan, but they are there. Maxwell Park has significant acreage, and i regularly bring my Springer Spaniels to the park for their walk. On many occasions, since they are very obedient, I'm able to take them off leash, and see many others that do as well.
